Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival 2007

27th – 28th October, 2007

Herefordshire is the place to be the on the weekend of 27th / 28th October for the second Flavours of Herefordshire Food Festival, held at Hereford Racecourse on the northern edge of Hereford city. In the Food Pavilions and Farmer’s Market get back in touch with the over 100 artisan producers of simply delicious fresh and natural foods. In the Food Theatre, watch and admire the skills of Sophie Grigson a great national and natural cook, and our great local chefs and new talent, as they combine imagination and market savvy. New this year is Street Food – hear sausages sizzling, smell the aroma of hot chestnuts and taste the yummy foods on sale.

Children can explore the simplest ingredients in Food Fun organised by the Hereford Waldorf School including pressing apples, pumpkin carving and fruit and vegetable printing plus the old favourites of face painting, hair braiding and much more. (A small charge will be made to cover the cost of materials)

In the Slow Food area share the passion and knowledge of cherishing the food we eat

There is Free onsite parking for cars and coaches.

Festival Admission

In the interests of food hygiene, NO dogs, other than Guide dogs, are allowed. Admission includes entry to the whole area of the festival site including the Food Theatre and a Festival Guide. A small charge will be made for Food Fun activities for children – as mentioned above.

 

Entry each day is 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

£4.00 concessions
Under 14s £1.00
Children under 3 free
