Love it, live it and try it at Herefordshire's third Food Festival on 25th and 26th October, 2008

 

The Hairy Bikers

Hereford Race Course is the place to be in late October. Meet the locals in the Food Market and Farmers' Market. Learn about apple varieties rescued from extinction with the Marcher Apple Network. Herefordshire Beekeepers will be holding their annual competition with plenty of sample tastings. The National Trust, Slow Food and Marches Fungi will all be there. Tyrrells are highlighting their latest product ‘Herefordshire Vodka' The Hairy Bikers will be touring the Festival on both days and putting the local ingredients, including vintage apples and vodka, to the test in the Food Theatre.

Sealegs Puppets

Children can try traditional autumn customs - carving pumpkins, pressing fresh apple juice and apple bobbing or follow the Food Trail. Jugglers entertain the street scene as you try and buy all the delicious produce on offer. There's something for everyone to enjoy.

Open Saturday 10.00 am - 4.30 pm and Sunday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm

Adults: £5.00 Concessions £4.50
Under 14s £1.00, children under 3 are free.
Admission includes entry to the whole site including the Food Theatre and the Festival Programme.
